Edward Denniston – Book Launch

Waterford Longfordian Edward Denniston has a new collection of poems, published by Salmon Poetry. The collection, entitled The Scale of Things, is his second book of poems and will be launched at Greyfriars’ Municipal Gallery Waterford on Friday June 14th. The book is dedicated to Aileen Denniston, his mother, who died in November, 2011.

Edward has been teaching English and Drama and living in Waterford since 1980 . He is a brother of Ronnie and Denise Denniston, proprietors of Dennistons’ shop, Centenary Square. He has also written a book of drama scripts , an ebook of poems entitled, ‘Eskimo Advice’ and a book of poems entitled, The Point Of Singing (Abbey Press 1999).

It is hoped to have a Longford launch of The Scale Of Things sometime in September. The book is available from Salmon Poetry’s on-line bookshop or any good bookshop.
